      Marco Lazzarino
Marco Lazzarino got the degree in Physisc from the University of Genoa in 1991. From 1992 to 1995 he reecived a fellowship in bioelectronics from Eniricerche. From 1995 to 1998 he was post-doc at INFM-TASC laboratory, Trieste. In 1998 he was research associate at Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa. Since 1999 he is a confirmed researcher at CNR-INFM labotarorio TASC, Trieste.
He worked on the electronic properties of semiconductor devices, including heterostructures, Schottky barriers, hybrid superconductor-semiconductor and 2D electron gases, with a main focus on the devices fabrication.  He also operates in the scanning probe microscopy field, with a particular interest in AFM lithography, low temperature SNOM and tip enhanced raman spectroscopy. He is co-author of more than 50 papers on international journals.
Presently, he is interested in the design and fabrication of micro and nanoelectromechanical systems for the detection and manipulation of small biological entities.
