Dr. Neuy studied chemistry with a focus on physical and technical chemistry/biotechnology. She made her PhD in metal-organic chemistry / nanotechnology at the Max-Planck-Institut fuer Kohlenforschung in Muelheim an der Ruhr in 1995. Parallel to her business carrier, she studied economics until 1999. She started to work with the well-known Institut fuer Mikrotechnik Mainz in the public relations department. Joining IVAM in 1998, she was responsible for public relations, later on for marketing, e.g. event organisations, and became managing director in 2001. Her personal interest is in technology marketing and international networking. Dr. Neuy is married and has 2 daughters (born 2000 and 2003).
