Dr. Henning Wicht

Dr. Henning Wicht is Managing Director of WTC – Wicht Technologie Consulting a renowned consulting company specialised in microsystems and microelectronics. Henning Wicht founded WTC in 2000 after having been active in the marketing of microsystems technology since 1993. WTC now employs 10 consultants and offers customised market analysis, strategy planning, roadmapping, business development and search for technology partners.

Henning Wicht is a highly visible and accomplished ambassador for MEMS and microelectronics. At national and EU level he leads the NEXUS Task force marketing and also chairs the annual European Strategic Round Table conferences. He is highly networked with companies and institutes in Microsystems to the great benefit of the related national and European working groups. Henning Wicht has deep knowledge of these industries not least as the result of performing over 100 assignments in all major industrial fields for MEMS, optronics and nanotechnology.

Dr. Wicht has also contributed (as partner and coordinator) to numerous EU integrated projects (SmartHealth, PATENT; ARCORC, ARRRO etc.).He has been organizer of the World of MEMS forum at electronica since 2002.
