Micro-solenoid
0301221-127
[DEFINITION]
A miniaturized actuator that uses electromagnetic force to drive an
iron piece.
[DESCRIPTION]
Solenoid output is characterized by stepwise motion associated with
on or off electric current applied to a drive coil. Any motion can be achieved by a sequence of
small stepwise motion. Thus, micro-solenoid can be applied to a micro-motion system. From a
viewpoint of system simplicity, these digital actuator is preferable because they are easily
interfaced with digital controller.
