Molecular dynamics
0104102-145
[DEFINITION]
A dynamics which explains macroscopic phenomena with the behavior of
molecular motion based on classical dynamics.
[DESCRIPTION]
Molecular dynamics treats gas, liquid, and solid materials
indiscriminately as a mass of molecules, and studies macroscopic properties of such a system and
physicochemical phenomena that take place in it. With molecular dynamics, not only the
thermodynamic properties of a system but also kinetic properties can be analyzed.
