Molecular thermodynamics
0105102-147
[DEFINITION]
A dynamics which explains thermal phenomena with the behavior of
atoms and molecules.
[DESCRIPTION]
Molecular thermodynamics is the basic study of motion of atoms and
molecules, which clarifies relation of the motion with heat and flow, and how consequently energy is
transferred by condensation, vaporization, absorption or radiation of light. Application of
molecular thermodynamics is expected in various fields such as the new materials development, super
fine precision processing, and thermal control technology.
