ACCOMODATION

As you know, Venice is one of the most popular locations in the world, all year long. In particular, Spring is high season for Venice. For this reason our Organizing Committee already reserved blocks of rooms in three different (but all 4-star) hotels. Price room depends on location.

These are the options:

Two elegant hotels ideally located in the historical center of Venice, at 5 minutes walking distance from the Summit Venue.
How to reach Hotel Bonvecchiati:
FROM VENICE MARCO POLO AIRPORT
By Water Taxi: Take a water taxi from the dock of the air terminal that takes you directly to the Hotel Bonvecchiati.
With a Transfer: Reserve the Hotel Bonvecchiati's for-charge transfer service, which will bring you from the air terminal directly to the hotel.
By Alilaguna Motorboat: From the dock of the air terminal, take an Alilaguna motorboat. Get off at San Marco and follow the MAP (pdf).
By Train: In front of the Santa Lucia train station, take a water taxi that will bring you directly to the hotel in 15 minutes, or take ACTV vaporetto no. 82 to San Marco/Rialto. If you are taking the vaporetto, get off at Rialto and continue on foot following the MAP (pdf).
FROM TREVISO'S SAN GIUSEPPE AIRPORT
Take the shuttle to Venezia - Piazzale Roma (the car terminal) and follow the map (from Piazzale Roma).

A convenient and comfortable hotel located at the "Lido", an island in the Venice lagoon, in front of San Marco Square. The hotel is reachable by public boats. The Conference venue is 10 minutes far from the hotel (by boat).

> HOTEL PLAZA (www.hotelplazavenice.com)
Located in Mestre, in front of the Venice-Mestre's railway station, a few minutes journey from Venice, reachable both by train or by bus.
How to reach Hotel Plaza:
By Train: Directly opposite the hotel, Mestre’s railway station offers frequent connections to and from Venice. All trains arriving from Rome, Milan, Bologna and the Brenner Pass and directed to Venice, Treviso and Trieste stop at Mestre station.
By Car: Hotel Plaza is reached from Mestre’s Bypass system (Tangenziale) which connects the motorway exits for Padova, Vicenza, Treviso, Belluno, Trieste and Milano to the town of Mestre.
By Plane: Marco Polo International airport is situated only 8 km (5 miles) from Hotel Plaza. The hotel is happy to arrange, on request, private transport to and from the airport for the hotel guests.
The hotel may also be reached by taxi or by taking the public bus service (Bus number 15 – the bus stop is only a few steps from the hotel).

One minute's walk from St. Mark's Square and the historical centre , in the very heart of the city.
How to reach Hotel Torino:
FROM THE AIRPORT: The Alilaguna Boat Shuttle is a public service leaving every hour . In 1 hour and 10 minutes you reach San Marco Boat Station . From here take your left hand and continue through the main street Via XXII Marzo . At the end of it you will see the Hotel. You can also decide to take a private taxi boat that in 30 minutes will reach the closest canal of the Hotel .
FROM TRAIN STATION AND CAR PARKINGS OF PIAZZALE ROMA: You can take public boat N°1 and get off at the Boat Station named Santa Maria del Giglio (Station N°13) ; immediately you will find the Square named Santa Maria del Giglio and on the right hand there is a bridge named Ponte delle Ostreghe. Once you cross the bridge you will find the Hotel.
Also here you can take a private water taxi and reach the closest canal of the Hotel in 10/15 minutes.
